About the Artist
I discovered my love for photography through travel. While my professional background began in an administrative career rather than the arts, I have always been drawn to creativity and visual expression.
In 2005, while traveling for work, I realized that I might never return to many of the cities, states, and landscapes I was experiencing. Wanting to preserve those moments, I purchased my first digital camera, a few lenses, and began learning the fundamentals of photography.
Since then, I have continued to study, refine my skills, and invest in the craft, eventually evolving into a professional photographer with a focus on capturing scenes rather than events.
Alongside photography, I also paint, primarily abstract work. I am drawn to pieces that carry meaning, invite interpretation, and allow ideas to move intuitively between mediums.
